Since its establishment in the 19th century, Addis Ababa has always seemed like a magical portal, a gateway to another world. For the rural masses of Ethiopia it was, and is, a city whose streets are paved in gold; for a foreign visitor, the gateway of Addis Ababa is at the verge of an ancient and mystical world. Addis is the best place in the country to sample Ethiopian food, and has some wonderful museums and places to stay.

Suggestion: To find other attendees who may want to join you in activities, use the message board located near the Registration Desk. Post your contact information and activity of interest, and be sure to check the message board during the meeting for posts by fellow attendees.

Hiking Car/Taxi required Mount Entoto is the highest peak in the Entoto Mountains at 3,200 meters above sea level. In addition to it's 360 degree view of Addis valley, there are historical artifacts and one of the oldest churches in the area.
